A man who spent £12,000 on body modifications to emulate a ‘demon’ gets ‘spiders’ implanted under his skin

A man who is a fanatic of body modification and wants to look like a “demon” has revealed his latest transformation, “spider” implants.

Renato De Santa, a tattoo artist, made headlines last year after revealing his latest body modification which involved cutting both of his ears into the shape of bats.

The 42-year-old, from Brazil, has also had his eyeballs tattooed black, his tongue split and part of his flesh carved out to read “666”.

Now, Renato has taken his transformation to the next level and has undergone an invasive procedure to have silicone spiders implanted under his skin.

However, Renato says the surgery wasn’t painful at all. He said, “I don’t take any medication, so I have to endure the pain – but the procedure was easy.”

Renato began his love of body modifications in 1996 and soon set up his own studio, where he turned his passion into a full-time career. To date, he believes he’s spent an estimated £12,000 on his tattoos and modifications to accomplish his daring look.

Renato has said that while many people don’t agree with his unique features, it has actually helped him within his love life. He said, “[My modifications] don’t interfere negatively in my love life, because I surround myself with people who are adept to my culture.”

He intends to free minds and show that people can be who they want while respecting the space of their fellow men.
